Ingredients (Serves 4–6):
- Mascarpone cheese: 250g
- Heavy cream: 200ml
- Sugar: 1/3 cup
- Matcha powder: 2 tbsp (culinary grade)
- Hot water: 1/2 cup
- Ladyfinger biscuits: 1 pack
- Yuzu zest (or lemon if unavailable): 1 tsp
- Vanilla extract: 1/2 tsp
Instructions:
- Whisk matcha with hot water until smooth. Let cool.
- Beat mascarpone, cream, sugar, and vanilla until thick and fluffy.
- Dip ladyfingers quickly into the matcha mixture and layer in a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat with more soaked ladyfingers and top with the rest of the cream.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours. Dust with matcha and yuzu zest before serving.
