🥢 Ingredients:

For the Tempura:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 cup ice-cold sparkling water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup mixed ingredients for frying (sweet potato slices, banana, or shrimp)
  • Oil for frying

For the Black Sesame Dipping Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp black sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the batter: In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, matcha powder, and salt. Slowly add in ice-cold sparkling water, mixing lightly (don’t overmix, lumps are fine!).
